Inspired by Shylight, the luminous hanging sculpture by Studio Drift, Floral Eclipse is a captivating collection that mirrors the graceful choreography of nature. The collection draws from the phenomenon of nyctinasty, where flowers open and close in response to light, capturing the unpredictable, natural movements that make Shylight appear alive. “Shylight is an object that feels alive because of unpredictable, natural-looking movements: it descends while blossoming in all its glory, only to subsequently close and retreat upward again.”
